Pictures taken August  9, 2003 during the 140th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.

Rifles are stacked as the men get instructions on the upcoming battle.   Prior to the march to battle, a regiment stops for what may be their last quiet moment.
.Silhouetted by the artillery smoke, the regiment moves out. Picketts are sent out and lay low as they scout the enemy troops.
. .

These die-hard enthusiasts show off their skills from hours of endless drilling practice.  At the sound of the command, the entire regiment marches, form lines, and make left and right wheels effortlessly.
