The Proteus Ensemble is dedicated to breathing fresh life into a wide variety of musical forms, ranging from those of the distant past to those of the present day. Top-prize winners of Chamber Music Yellow Springs and Fischoff National Chamber Music Competitions, Proteus was the Aspen Music Festival's Contemporary Ensemble 2001 to 2003.
