Historic Church Tours Visit and Hear of Events that Happened at Gettysburg's Historic Churches |
Enjoy a walk along old town streets of Gettysburg as you visit our historic churches. Eight churches participate (four each week) and allow you to go inside and hear heroic stories about what happened in that church during and after the battle. You will be able to admire the many beautiful features of our historic churches while short programs are presented about the sacrifices made by the citizens. You'll also hear about the conditions found around Gettysburg in the aftermath of the fighting. Volunteer guides will escort you from one church to the next. |

These 90 minute tours begin in
front of the Presbyterian church, 208 Baltimore St. (two blocks from the
square). The first at 6 pm and a second at 6:30 pm. No reservations are
required but show up at least ten minutes prior to departure time to purchase
tickets - Adults are $5; Children 12 and under are free. Park free behind the
church. The churches
toured on the following Wednesdays (6/9, 6/23, 7/7, 7/21, 8/4 & 8/18) are:
Prince of Peace Episcopal, St. Francis Roman Catholic, St. Paul's AME and
Christ Lutheran. |

Foster from San Francisco. The general public is welcome to attend the conference's free artist showcases which feature a diverse line-up of performers in 20-minute presentations. From 8pm - 11pm - Night at the Museum of Spirits Ghost Hunt Nightly Investigation of the International Museum of Spiritual Investigations - Comprised of a 45 minute power point presentation of the museum’s history, equipment we use to investigate, and ghostly evidence we capture during an investigation. Then a 2 to 2 ½ hour investigation of the 200+ year old house for the investigator and enthusiast to enjoy and experience hand on approaches. From 12pm - 2am - Gettysburg Paranormal Association Nightly Investigation Nightly Investigation with Gettysburg Paranormal Association - Complete the night with a final investigation at a random location throughout the Gettysburg area. Enjoy a walk along old town streets of Gettysburg as you visit our historic churches. Eight churches participate (four each week) and allow you to go inside and hear heroic stories about what happened in that church during and after the battle. You will be able to admire the many beautiful features of our historic churches while short programs are presented about the sacrifices made by the citizens. You'll also hear about the conditions found around Gettysburg in the aftermath of the fighting. Volunteer guides will escort you from one church to the next. |

Historic Church Tours Visit and Hear of Events that Happened at Gettysburg's Historic Churches |
Enjoy a walk along old town streets of Gettysburg as you visit our historic churches. Eight churches participate (four each week) and allow you to go inside and hear heroic stories about what happened in that church during and after the battle. You will be able to admire the many beautiful features of our historic churches while short programs are presented about the sacrifices made by the citizens. You'll also hear about the conditions found around Gettysburg in the aftermath of the fighting. Volunteer guides will escort you from one church to the next. |

front of the Presbyterian church, 208 Baltimore St. (two blocks from the
square). The first at 6 pm and a second at 6:30 pm. No reservations are
required but show up at least ten minutes prior to departure time to purchase
tickets - Adults are $5; Children 12 and under are free. Park free behind the
church. The churches
toured on the following Wednesdays (6/9, 6/23, 7/7, 7/21, 8/4 & 8/18) are:
Prince of Peace Episcopal, St. Francis Roman Catholic, St. Paul's AME and
Christ Lutheran. |
