You'll hear about how the Dobbin family planned to defend themselves from Indian attacks, what the Heck family experienced during the Battle of Gettysburg, and take a peek in the kitchen of the current restaurant.

Offered throughout the year of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, this free tour meets at 10:30 am in the Dobbin House gift shop. See or call for specific dates, www.dobbinhouse.com, or 717-334-2100.

Tours will be offered May 25-27, Saturdays in June, as well as June 23 and 25-30. July 1-7; 9-14; 17-19, 21, 23-28 and July 30-31.
